You know it's time to get off the dating app when a stranger asks you if you're okay. So now what?
Immediate response:
Get off the apps this time for good.
Get used to living the next 10 to 20 years in my hood as is.
Give it to God, as the stranger suggested.
Accept that this has always been in the stars for me. (Childhood mantra: I deserve to be earned.)
Acknowledge that dating and interviewing are my limitations. Accept that this is one statistic I can't beat. Acknowledge that it's not my duty to defeat stats and stereotypes.
Accept that I've done really well for myself and it's not negated because I am single.
Do I message Japple?
Do I message the Mormon?
I don't know.
So yeah, I don't know
