I'm still feeling pretty tired. First night on the futon was not great. I was up. I was so fatigued yesterday, I just kind of drifted off probably too early. And the futon is back-breaking and probably a bit dusty. I had some congestion so ended up turning the a/c from 73 to 75. But then I would get too warm.
We know summer sleep is a struggle.
In my middle of the night tossing and turning... I did try to come up with new night time routines.
Reading in bed makes me drowsy...so I'm thinking..
8-10p - TV & Start bedtime routine - brush/floss/rinse/bathe
10-12 - read and drift to sleep
I prefer the TV at 8p because I can have it on while I do nightime routine, so it's audio, and I want to stay awake. And I want to stay up as late as possible so I can sleep in as late as possible (vs waking up in middle of the night).
And since for now sleeping is making me drowsy, seems like a better choice for right before bed. I can also do audiobook.
Ok, I'm getting drowsy. It probably didn't help that I had a big breakfast but my sugar felt low. But that bread and jam may have been too much.
